Refosco delle venezie - Terre di Gioia - I.G.T.

Origin: Alpi Carniche of the high Grave Friulana.
Soil composition: loose and aerated terrain composed in large part of calcareous stone from the high Grave Friulana.
Grape varieties:100% Refosco dal peduncolo rosso.
Wine making process: in stainless steel, preceded by cold maceration of the grapes. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 27° C.
Ageing: in stainless steel and oak casks for six months, then bottled.
Characteristics: lively ruby red in colour. Complex floral and fresh fruit scent of currants and plum. On the palate the wine is firm, giving the presence of a good acidity and tannins; slightly spicy with the presence of blackberries, dark cherry and plum, all integrated in a pleasant and aromatic finish.
Food pairings: pastas with meat sauces, fowl game stews, roasted white meat, grilled pork sausages, aged cow milk cheeses and particularly all dishes that go well with mushrooms and polenta.
