Among the regions of Italy, that of Trento is the most famous for the cultivation of Chardonnay, which here is distinguished by its perfect synthesis of strength and sweetness. This grape variety thrives in the microclimate of the Val dÕAdige, and expresses all its excellence in a wine of great body and elegance.
Sensory profile: Yellow in colour, with green flecks. Fruity citrus and yellow apple bouquet. Soft and fresh on your palate,with an elegant aroma and persistence.
Food pairings: Nice to be consumed alone. Excellent wine to accompany sea food, particularly crustaceans and mollusks, white meat and vegetable pies.
Service temperature: 10 -12°C.
Production zone: Vallagarina and Valle dellÕAdige in Trentino
Grape varieties: 100% Chardonnay with the best selections from Trentino.
Soil composition: Largely dolomitic calcareous stone, sometimes morainic.
Vineyard - Growing systems and principal training forms: Guyot and small "pergola trentina" with rigorous pruning, and intervention on the vegetation for production control. Protection against parasites and soil management respecting the environment.
Harvest: Manual from mid September
Vinification: Brief cold maceration of the grapes with soft fractional airbag pressing. Controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel with a small fraction in large wooden barrels. Maturation on the lees and bottling in Spring.
Storage: In standing bottles when consumption is expected within a short time. Otherwise it is suggested to lay the bottle down at a temperature as close as possible to 16 - 18°C in the dark.
Bottle and content: Bordolese bottle of 0,75 lt.
Packaging: Box containing 6 bottles positioned vertically (12 for the market in the U.S.A.).
